Anger
Dear Lord,
Today I lost my temper and got really mad. In your word I find it says, "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and evil speaking be put away from you". Jesus please help me to put it all away from me. I want to be kind and tender hearted. Change me Lord today, help me keep my temper and not grow angry with others.

Dear Jesus,
Today I saw a beggar and thought, "Why doesn't he get a job? I work he can too". I was reminded of your word that says , "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for you may be entertaining angels unaware". Lord help me to be more careful of how I look on others that you place in my path each day.

Lord,
I am so very weak and you are so very strong. I am trying to live for you. I know you have made my body to be your temple to house your spirit. I am struggling with an addiction. My mind tells me I have to have just one more cigarette. God please take this craving from me. I want to obey your word. I want this temple to be holy. When I think about smoking help me to think about you breathing in that smoke as I breathe it in. Let me see your sorrow as I harm myself, my body, your temple. Jesus I ask in your precious name take this addiction from me.

Thank you for my children you have blessed me with. Help me to always love them as you love me. Help me to see it is my job to correct and punish them when they do wrong. Let me never close my eyes and pretend not to see something they are doing that I know is wrong. Let me train them up in your ways so that when they are old they will not depart from you or your ways.

Today I sinned. I have a problem, I am ashamed and need your help. I work with a man of a different skin color. I didn't even know until today I think of him differently just because of the color of his skin. I know your word teaches we are all one in Christ. I know it says whosoever will call upon you, not whosoever is of a certain skin color, shall call upon you shall be saved. Help me to look past his skin color and look on his heart as you do. Let me see him the way you see us all. Take away this prejudice. Let me be your tool to show your love to all in my workplace and bring them to come and know you, the one who is Lord over all.

Dear God,
Things are looking really bad for me financially. I am tired of worrying where I will get the money to pay all of these bills. I am tired of wondering will there be enough food for my family this week. Jesus I feel guilty asking for such things when there are so many who have nothing. In your word you said there shall be showers of blessings. I ask for those showers to fall on me. You said I could come to you and say "Give me a blessing". Today Lord, I am so thankful for all you have given me already but now I ask you for a blessing. I thank you for it and I will give you all the glory as you lift me out of these financial struggles.

Help me not to look on things that I should not look on. In Psalms your word says I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes. Please don't let these wicked things be set before me. Take them far from me. As I work on my computer or watch the television, keep all the filth of this world from my eyes. Let me crucify my flesh and look only on what you would have me to see.

My Dear Jesus,
My faith is being tested. Your word tells me I can do all things through you strengthening me. Strengthen me now. Help me to make it through today.It is hard when someone I love has hurt me so deeply. Help me to make it through this hurtful experience. Please take control of this whole situation. In the book of Jeremiah it is written that You have made heaven and earth by your great power and stretched out arm. There is nothing to hard for you. Let me see that in your hands this situation is not impossible. It is not to hard for you to work it all out. Make my faith in you grow ever stronger, Lord I pray.

I am so afraid. Please take this from me. You said the spirit of fear does not come from you. My hands are shaking, my heart is racing, my stomach is tied up in knots. I am so fearful of what might happen. I thought when I started living for you that all these fears had forever left me. Jesus make me stronger make me more sure of your word that says the Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? Help me Lord. Please let me feel your arms around me right now and comfort me. Forgive me for having this spirit of fear that has fallen on me today. Dear Lord,
Forgive me for saying some things about someone today that I really shouldn't have said. I was gossiping about someone who I had no business saying anything about. Help me to follow your word in Proverbs where it says he that shutteth his lips is an esteemed man of understanding. Help me to shut my lips unless I have something good to say about someone. I want to be like you Jesus. Guide me to be wise and know when I should not speak at all. Put your words in my heart and on my lips.

Forgive me for my laziness today, for not going to your house. I wasn't sick, I could have gone. I know you were there and I should have been there. Take away this uncaring spirt from me. Let me always remember what a privledge it is to have the freedom to go and worship with other believers. Let me be glad when someone says let' s go to church. Let me not forget the importance of gathering with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you for all the joy you give to me as I am in your presence at your house worshipping you. Dear Lord,
I know you can heal all diseases. Your word tells me so. There is a sickness in my body that I do not want to be here anymore. I am tired of being sick. I want to feel the way I felt before this came on me. I pray in Jesus name for this to leave me now. I claim for myself now the healing you gave to me so long ago when you received those stripes on your body for me. By your stripes I am healed. I praise you Jesus. I accepted you as my savior and am trying very hard to live for you. I keep hearing if I would receive the Holy Ghost I would have the power I need to live for you. It says in your word that this is a gift that is pormised to me and to my children, all that are far off, and as many as you shall call. Jesus I want what you promised me. Dear Lord,
Today someone complimented some work I have done for you. It made me feel good. As I was feeling good, I remembered, no flesh shall glory in your presence. Forgive me Father, let me always remember whatever ability I have came from you to be used for you. Every work I do is for your glory, not mine. Also let me remember it is by grace through faith I am saved, not by any work that I might do. Help me to be humble. I want to serve you always and want no glory to fall on me. I pray your blessings on my home. I plead your precious blood over my home to protect me and my family. Dear Lord,
Help me to be joyful today. I know in your presence is fullness of joy. Keep me in your presence. Let me offer to you sacrifices of joy even when I don't feel like being joyful. Let me sing and praise you when I feel like crying. I know your word promises that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Let this be my morning. Today forgive me for looking down on someone. Forgive me for thinking myself better than them because I have left sinful habits behind that are still with them. Help me to remember your word that says, such were some of you but you are washed, santified, and justified in the name of Jesus. Thank you for washing away my sins. Thank you for taking away sinful habits that could have killed me. Help me to look on others still bound by sinful habits the way you look on them, with love and compassion. I pray that today they would turn from those sinful habits, look to you and be washed.

Today I found that there are some people who are really working against me. I don't know why but they think I am a threat to them as I try to spread your good news. It really hurts me Lord to know I do have enemies I know I must love them even if they do hate me. Help me to think and do good towards them. Let me feed my enemies with your bread and let me quinch their thirst with your living water. Give me the strength and the wisdom I need to do this Lord. I know your word tells me if I do this I will be rewarded. Let me remember your word in Jeremiah that says my persecutors shall stumble and they shall not prevail, nor shall they prosper. Help me to pray for my enemies daily and do good to them that use me.

Forgiveness
Father,
Today I am having trouble forgiving someone who has hurt me deeply. I know I must forgive to be forgiven, but it is so hard Jesus. They have done this so many times before and I have forgiven them, now they have done worse than before. Help me to forgive, continually, as you said I am to forgive. Take away the pain and the hurt. Let me forgive them as you forgive me. Let me use this experience to grow in you as I experience some of the pain you feel when I hurt you and sin against you. I know it is up to you to handle this situation It is not my place to judge or punish. It is yours. My only job is to forgive and move on from this hurtful situation. Give me your strength to forgive them. Thank you for forgiving me daily.

I know you told me not to be of a doubtful mind, today I am doubting.Forgive me. All these trials are coming on me now, help me not to doubt that you will take care of all of this. Help me to seek you first daily and help me to know you will keep your promise to me that says if I seek you and your kingdom first all of these things shall be added to me. You will stretch forth your hand and catch me and lift me above this sea of troubles. Thank you Jesus.Let me walk in you never doubing that you are in control.

I am feeling hopeless and helpless once more. I pray take this feeling of darkness from me and never let it return again. Let your mind be in me. Take this depression from me. Your word promises I will be established in righteouness and be far from oppression. You said fear and terror shall not come near me. I pray for you to keep that promise to me now as this depression lifts from my mind. Let your peace and joy come and wash over me now. Jesus I give you all the praise and glory for restoring the joy of my salvation.

I once again am having trouble sleeping. I pray for sleep and rest to come to me tonight Your word tells me that you give your beloved sleep and that my sleep shall be sweet. Let that sleep come to me now I pray. I thank you Lord for hearing my prayer.

Father,
I know you created me to worship you. Let the spirit of worship fall on me now. Teach me your ways Lord and show me how you would have me to worship. Never let me look to others to see how I need to worship, but let me look to you. Let your holy spirit guide me as to how you would have me give you all the praise that you deserve. I pray to never be ashamed to fall on my face quitely before you or to stand and shout praises to your name. It is all about you. Show me how you would have me to worship each day as you allow me to enter into your presence.

Today I come to thank you for making me a new creation. Someone tried to bring me down by reminding me of the person I was before I came to know you. Thank you Lord for using that to just make me be more thankful to you for saving me and changing me. Thank you that old things are passed away and all things have become new. Thank you for forgetting my past sins, the person I once was. Help me to forget them just as you have. Let me move forward in your name and not be pulled down by meomories from my past. I praise you and worship you for making me brand new.

Today I come and ask you to see me through this trial that is on me. I know your word says if God is with me who can be against me. Nothing or no one can seperate me from your love. Be near me in this day of trouble. Give me strength I turn this over to you and ask you to fight against them that are fighting against me. I know we must through tribulation enter into heaven. Give me your power let me run and not be weary. I pray that when you have finished trying me I will come forth as gold. I know all of this is not worthy to be compared to the glory you will reveal to me I claim all these promises from your word. Be with me for trouble is near.
